  Awkward controls, and for at least the first two levels, I didn't need to move at all to win. The tutorial level is long and boring, and the text is nigh on unreadable. Two stars for cool graphics and sound.

  $7??....i wish it were the original version. Not very fun when you just keep the ship in the middle majority of the time to avoid enemy fire. Basically you're just watching the game play on its own.

  Nicely done. Very enjoyable game. However, I do agree with the general assessment of the controls not being that great. Took some getting used to, but was able to figure out the controls enough to get some decent game play in.

  Controls, Controls, Controls. I can't say it enough. Its an awesome game and addictive on xBox but its essentially unplayable here. I just with someone would create a physical controller for WP8 like the game klip is PS3 controller to android platform. It would open up an incredible game experience if I could use my Xbox controller on my WP8 games. (Lumia 920)

  Alright game was going to get it for 99 cents, but they brought the price back up to 6.99. No cell phone game is worth 7 dollars IMHO.

  Very, very bad controls! They are not very responsive, so the game isn't very fun. I prefer the original galaga, too. Uninstalling!!

  Would give zero stars if possible. Has the worst control scheme ever. Barely resembles the original arcade game. Stay away. Even at $.99 this is a bad deal.

  Beautiful graphics, fun game play. Controls could use a bit tweaking but not as bad as other reviewers claim. There are a lot worse games for 99 cents.
