Reviews
- Waste of time
- VERY fun
- Terrible AI ruins game. Nearly impossible even on easy, a single turn in can wipe out over three quarters of the world no matter how well defended. Tutorial doesn't let you get this far. Continents are near worthless in troops because of increasing troop gains from cards. Easily the worst version of risk I've played.
- Very addicting game :)
- Epic
- Like the original, though the Droid version is MUCH better.
- Definitely needs to fix the unfair rolls for computers when attacking. Any difficulty that is above easy is almost always a loss because of this. 3 turns in the comp. Was turning in a set of cards and I had to wait until turn 6 before I had a matching set. Also attacked 1 unit with 4 guys and lost...come on!
- This is a fun game with good mechanics. Taking off two stars due to how they handle turning in a set of cards. A screen pops up that blocks the entire map. That makes it hard to determine if you really want to turn in a set. I've had quite a few games get ****** up because of it. Also, they don't have online multiplayer. That's a glaring omission for one of the greatest multiplayer games. The pass and play works alright when you have friends over though. Like some of the other reviews said, they nail the basics (outside of cards), but they could have done so much more.
- Looks good but game play is hampered by unfair dice roll. Seriously.
- Well executed and fun.
- Good game
- Fun game.
- Fun game except the computer cheats all the time on dice rolls. Annoying.
- My favorite board game of all time. Fast and easy to use the same way that it was announced on the app info ....so amazing love risk !!!!!!!!!!
- What's the point of this since you can't play with other players? I seriously would like a refund. World Domination is so much better since you can actually play with other humans online. I hope there are plans to make this multiplayer.
- Have the demo and it is an AWESOME game. The only problem is that sometimes it is hard to select the right country. I conquered the world in the tutorial for demo. CAN'T wait to get full game.
- Trash - false advertising. Multiplayer on works over the network if the humans you want to play with are on the same WiFi network. You can play and match over the internet. VERY disappointed. Wish I could return it.
- É igual ao jogo de tabuleiro WAR. Muito bom. Só que tem muito pouca probabilidade de números diferentes quando joga os dados.
- This is basic Risk. Technology allows for so much more. Seriously overpriced given lack of advances. Add new map options.
- Excelente. Podia custar metade.
- Missing multiplayer!
- Unable to play a full game on trial so impossible to evaluate AI. In the few turns available it didn't seem to smart.
- Great game but risk is a multiplayer game and that is worth those two stars that I didn't give this game
- Played for 2 hours right off the bat. This is a fun game. Love it.
- Risk is a multiplayer game. So where is the multiplayer? A game like this is ZERO fun playing against your phone. Great presentation and gameplay...unfortunately missed the most important part, Making the rest absolutely pointless.
- Solid game. The gameplay you're looking for with a solid presentation
- Anyone wants to play add moonlitewarrior
- 好
- Excellent game. Not sure why so many bad reviews
- Poor trial. Not paying this price also.
- ***
- Lame. Can only see the tutorial unless u buy full game
- Too hard
- Ok
- Really bad trial, no way to determine if the game is any good.
- Its a great game, although it gets boring after a while.
- Awesome adaptation of the classic board game. Complete with cool animations. I must admit that the quick battle button seems to heavily favor the attacking player but maybe it's just me. The pass n play is cool as well. Get it!
- Classic Risk
- The multiplayer wording is so misleading. You can only do pass-n-play or play with people on your WiFi network (i.e., in the same room with you). In addition to requesting a refund at customerexperience@ea.com, I suggest clicking the "Report concern to Microsoft" link on the Windows Phone site, and selecting "Misleading app".
- Great game!! But the game doesn't save at a certain point. So we can resume are current game. It sucks we have to start a new game.
- Amazing. Best game I've seen on windows phone.
- Decent game but im not wasting 2.99 on it. But it's an Xbox live game, so that's about as low as they'll go on any game, no matter if it's good or ****.
- rrx
- Needs to have an option to turn off vibrate so my battery doesn't get completely destroyed by this game
- Great time waster. It would be nice to have online multiplayer, as it can get boring.
- This is not classic Risk. They changed the rules to make it more "fast paced," but noone looking to play Risk is looking for a fast game.
- Love risk, hopefully they will release 2022 ad version or legacy
- Great game with everything I remember
- Thought it would be great at first, then it just became pointless. Random events would happen that gave computers the edge and territories would randomly disappear. The computer almost always roles higher than you except on rare occasions. Good idea though.
- I love playing the Risk board game! Strategy, conquest, and friends all in one. But there's a new game out for your Windows Phone that has all of that... and it's better than this version of Risk for sure. It's called "QONQR." Download QONQR! Join the LEGION and put "JUS7IFIED" as your recruiter for a little bonus. Message me in game to get connected. Play QONQR. Join LEGION. Save the WORLD!
- serviceable Risk, but nothing special. Last Risk game I played was Factions on 360 and I think I'd rather go play that
- Good buy!
- Kinda worth it, but a better game though slightly different is QONQR its fun you play against real ppl, though not in real time... It's delayed because lets be honest: not everyone poops at the same time. Anyway check out QONQR and you can use VXN as the referral for some start off points.
- Otimo
- Great game!
- This game is okay. I prefer to play QONQR on my phone. If you try qonqr its risk using the real world map. Use my referral code to get free extras and a head start REFERAL: TVB. the game is free after all
- Fun at first until you realize how inane the computer strategy is. Higher difficulty seems not to improve the Ai but increase the cheating. Specifically, the computer players get cards far more often than they would be able to under the rules. It is difficult to win when the computer can turn cardsets in almost every turn. Less work on the graphics and more on the game play would have been good.
- Clean UI, easy to p Pick up and play, and as always a risk to lose
- Fun times
- Fun
- Perfect time killer😁❗
- Awesome that this is available but needs multi-player badly!
- Risk! One of my all time favorites. Multiplayer works great, except that my little brother schooled me last night.
- I really wanted to like this game and I can't believe I blew money on it... On the surface it plays pretty well but then you realize it has one of the most unbalanced "random" number generators, with the AI absurdity rolling high almost all the time...
- Fun, but AI cheats noticeably on hard difficulty. Also, local multiplayer only. Good, but is begging for online features.
- Súper brutal me encanta
- Good game I'll buy it once its .99cents
- Should be great but turn control is aggravating. I am constantly mistakenly advancing from attack to redeploy. At least give me a way to go back... arg.
- Lame
- Nice game , but it should be cheaper.
- On medium difficultly it's impossible to win a battle the computer purposely gives me bad dice
- Love it. Needs multiplayer, or else should be closer to $0.99
- Addictive
- I play this game all the time. Every game is different and the higher levels really keep you thinking!!
- Ya I might not have multiplayer for Xbox live. Its fast if you tap on the attack screen when its the computers turn. For the ones saying its alot of money come on now $3. You got to be kidding me or need to get off the welfare.....
- needs online through xbox live?
- Great Game!!!
- I should have read the reviews before I purchased the game. What's the point of have a great turned based system baked into the phone if no one is going to use it? This game is perfect for asynchronous play, but the only multiplayer options are "Pass 'N Play" and Local WiFi. Total shame. I wish I'd saved my money.
- XBOX LIVE Online game....please
- Game take's forever!
