More Brain Exercise by Namco

Dr. Kawashima is back with a brand new assortment of exercises for your brain in More Brain Exercise. Supervised by Dr. Kawashima, the mastermind behind the original brain training game, these new mini games are scientifically proven to stimulate the brain!

Choose one of several different game modes which will provide a great workout to the temporal, parietal and frontal lobes of the brain:

• Brain Training - A selection of three random mini games to train your brain each day.

• Brain Age - So how old is your brain? Find out and compare the results to your actual age. If your brain age is less than your age, then you're in good shape!

• Quick Play - Choose any of the unlocked mini games and practice before you begin the other game modes. Unlock more mini games by completing both Brain Training & Brain Age modes.

• Sudoku - A bonus game which can be unlocked! Choose one of three difficulty settings to match your skill level.

Intuitive Controls
• Simply touch the correct answer or numerical sequence.
• Be quick, taking too long to answer will lower your score and add years to your brain age!

Monitor Your Progress
• Find out your average brain age and view the calendar to see if you got a gold star for the day.
• Follow your temporal, parietal and frontal lobe scores each week so you know what part of the brain you need to work on.
• Awards are given for each of the mini games. Are you "Universe" or "Cell?"
• Earn achievements for your best workouts!

  I tried this game out after trying Brain Challenge and in my opinion, if you're going to get a "brain trainer" get Brain Challenge instead. First thing that got me were the graphics. Pixelated and lo-res. Next was the lack of instructions on the mini games. I ended up just ignoring them and playing the game to get a better idea of the goal. Then there were the touch recognition issues. I would hit what I was sure was the right answer and it would think I was selecting something else (fishing miniigame). I always play games/use apps with the belief that no one sets out to do a bad game/app. In this case the game does feel like a rushed port. Mostly since there is a better option out there. Played on HTC Arrive.

  I do enjoy the games with this app, biggest complaint I have is the dates don't seem to track right on the calendar. I do it everyday around noon and sometimes it thinks it's the following day.

  Great. Although I found a bug. I played the game at ~1am local time today, and it set my scores for tomorrow. I was able to play again today and it set my scores for today.... Weird bug.

  Fun when I'm in the mood, but the graphics are a little pixilated and the game doesn't always mark the right date on the calendar. =[ Makes it hard to get some of the achievements.

  I am really glad I tried this game first. I have the original on the iPhone, so I thought this would be a good game. It seems like they just threw this together in a few days without any thought for the graphics. I mean, really... This is just ridiculous. Pixelated graphics... Feels like a high school project. Good job Namco, you've ruined a great game because your devs are lazy.

  Can not install easily without being hard wired to the net. Other than that it will keep your brain active. Just don't think this game is for graphics its to make you smarter not to make you go tell your friends about the dazzling effects

  Too many bugs... Controls can be difficult. Never seems to put the right date on the stamp calendar to give you credit for playing making it hard to unlock achievements.

  Menu navigation needs to be tweaked but game exercises are fun. Also graphics are less than attractive. Wondering if there is a WP7 competitive version, because that would be a great selling point.

  I love the exercises! The game runs well and it's responsive. The menu navigation is difficult and annoying. The leaderboard experience is really bad, taking a long time to retrieve every result. It should just get all results in one query to the server. I feel there should be more explanations in the Profile about the meaning of the results in the Profile Summary and the Progression pages. In the achievements section I would much more prefer to see a list of all the achievements first before I chose to see the details on a specific one.

  Played the trial version. The game is not very polished. The brain mini-games are at least enjoyable. May consider purchasing it but I'm sure a better one will be developed in the future.
