Minesweeper

Minesweeper, the classic puzzle game, is now available on the Windows Phone! The goal is to clear random minefields using flags to safely mark potential mines. One wrong move will detonate the entire board. Sweep your way through Classic and Speed modes, each with as many as 4 different levels of difficulty. Play your way through and earn powerups to help you navigate the board and unlock achievements for your LIVE account.

  The game is slow and tedious, a tile responds a second after clicking (Nokia 521), loading times seem unnecessarily long for such a seemingly small and light game, deleting until optimized. Animations not necessary, make the game feel snappier.

  Runs smoothly, but this version of MineSweeper isn't coded to be purely logical. You occasionally will have to guess, especially towards the end of a field. That's why the "powerups" exist. Ruins the puzzle aspect, MineSweeper doesn't need gimmicks.

  I'm pretty sure there's a bug. I was playing advanced and a 1 was placed in a square that was by 2 mines and killed me...I couldn't verify it though because the interface quickly hides the board after death....switch between flag mode and reveal mode is a little awkward too. Good game otherwise.

  Great version of Minesweeper. Only complaint is that you can't make custom boards like on windows, but that is just a minor complaint. Worth the download

  Great "free" app. Old windows style but new twists like a exp/lvl system and tools that can help. People who Down rate this have 2 problems...1, they forgot its free(complain about zoom) and 2,they aren't good at skill games ;)
