- by Danielle11/23/2012I loved frogger as a kid, and have played many spin-offs that have been great. This one; however, was very disappointing. It didn't seem to pick up on touches very well (it defaulted to swipe, and I left it that way), and there seemed to be a delay between when you swipe and the frog would jump. In contrast, it was overly sensitive about when it thought you ran into something or jumped too soon. I don't recommend buying until that gets sorted out. Pity because it has the potential to be such a great game.

A 3D 1st person (Froggy Eye) mode might be fun! Needs a Mango update bad! When started for the 1st time, we NEED to be forced to choose Tap or Slide AT THAT TIME & it needs to be very clearly explained. Many are too lazy or not clever enough to look at the Help to figure out the controls & blame the game instead of their own lack of initiative. This should be $0.99 despite nostalgia & corporate greed. I would have gladly paid 99 cents, BUT NO WAY am I paying $2.99 for a game that is NEVER updated nor improved upon, with sub-par graphics when I can spend a mere $2 more to get Splinter Cell HD! Now THAT game is an amazing example of what WP7 could be! If only it was Power User Friendly like WM6, customizable like Droid & less like the IPhony! Eat it PS Vita & 3DS! WP7 should be Re-ENVisioned as a Handheld Multiplayer Gaming Phone! WP7XGamer ***! LoL!

Also I randomly die? Not sure if I'm missing a timer or something haha But good game! Try the demo first then buy! Also idk why that one guy said it was to complicated haha you get frogger into the slots on the other side of the map :P

For the most part, the game play is exactly how I remember it with much improved graphics. However, the music is so awful and there's no way to turn it off except for turning down the volume or turning off all sound effects.

- by StyxBoatman7/14/2011I was actually a bit surprised on how well Frogger played on mobile. They updated the graphics and the music is catchy albeit repetitive. What surprised me the most was the controls. They were responsive and they added just enough "give" to be forgiving. In the end, it is Frogger and if the other reviews are right that there is not enough variety in the full version I'd take that into account before purchasing. Played on HTC Arrive.
